Health Benefits of Daffodil

One of Gemma’s top 20 plants.

Daffodil is a plant. The bulb, leaf, and flower are used to make medicine. This plant should be used topically unless by an established Herbalist.  People have gotten poisoned by mistaking the bulbs for onions.
Despite serious safety concerns, people take daffodil for whooping coughcolds, and asthma. They also take it to cause vomiting.

Some people apply a piece of cloth spread with a daffodil bulb preparation (plaster) to the skin to treat wounds, burns, strains, and joint pain.

I have always used alternative medicines and have recently started learning and using essential oils. I am trying to change the health of the world one person at a time.
